How to make your Email Marketing Strategy Work




Email Marketing overcomes challenges facing traditional marketing, yet it is being adopted by several companies. It has huge advantage that you can target segmented audience effectively and results can be tracked. If you want your email marketing strategy to work, there are few things you would like to know:

1.    Presentation: Make sure the images you used should not have high resolution. This will create difficulty in opening an email. The reader will report that email as spam. Your emails should be presentable and appealing to read. Your emails should be of HTML and Text version.

2.    Content: When the email is appealing to read then your content should complement the design. The content should crisp and to the point without any deviations from the topic/theme.  The subject line should be striking to read.

3.  Offers, Discounts and Freebies: One of the strategies to make your email marketing successful is subscription offers. Everyone loves discounts and freebies. Convince your readers that the offer you make is exclusively to them and special offer for selected customers.

4.    Know your Readers: When they purchase or sign up on your website send them a survey about the service you provided them. Make sure they leave a comment on your website. An Email Marketing should not always be “strict business.”

Tips for Inspiring your Team


Team leader plays most important role in team motivation. It is difficult task to motivate the team but not impossible. If you want your team members to positively contribute to the organization, then you need to follow few steps to motivate your team members.


The following are few tips to motivate your team:

Ø  Spend quality time: It is ‘quality time’ not ‘quantity time.’  Spending ‘one’ or ‘two’ minutes of quality time on regular basis is far more productive than hours of reviews a year.

Ø  Get connected: There are few motivators more powerful than relationships. Every interaction you have with an employee either adds or takes away from strong working relationship.

Ø  Give feedback and coach: Make a habit to give feedback when they are doing well or not doing well. Let them know their areas to improve and also recognize when a job well done.

Ø  Don’t be a slave driver: Never thrust your employees to work hard. This, in turn, will result ineffective. Pressurizing your team for a work to be done will not work out. Give them liberty while working.

Ø  Motivate with enticements: Rewards and recognitions will bring positive energy in your team. Employees will believe that their good work will be rewarded and recognized. This will motivate to work positively at workplace.

Motivation is the key for an organizations success. If the employee of the company is not happy at work then there are no productive results. There is no growth of the company.
